Procedure That We Follow
At Illumin8skin, we have trained aestheticians well-versed in the MINT PDO Thread Lift process. To deliver optimal results, we follow the procedure below.
Pre-Treatment
Before starting the thread lift, our aestheticians determine if you qualify for this customized nonsurgical treatment. If you’re the right fit, we also discuss your end goals and customize a treatment plan. Next, we examine the treatment areas, administer a strong numbing cream, and wait for it to take effect.
During Treatment
At this stage, treatment areas are marked where the threads will be placed. Afterward, a local anesthetic injection is applied to maintain the patient’s comfort. Next, the MINT PDO threads are placed under the skin and adjusted in the marked areas until the desired results are achieved. The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
Post-Treatment
After the session, you may notice swelling, which diminishes in a couple of days. Results are evident after one treatment, however; you’ll be able to see the whole outcome of the treatment after 1-2 months.
