Procedure That We Follow
Illumin8skin can assist you whether you require professional body wax, Brazilian wax, or facial waxing services. Here is how we do it.
Pre-Treatment
Before waxing, it is recommended to allow a minimum of 10 days of hair growth. Apart from that, exfoliation two days before scheduling the waxing appointment may also be recommended to avoid ingrown hair. If required, the hair is trimmed. We gather the necessary waxing supplies and move to the next step.
During Treatment
Based on the area being waxed, we use soft wax, hard wax, or organic wax. The wax is spread in the direction of hair growth in the desired area. Next, a cloth strip is applied to the wax and pressed firmly. The strip is pulled from the skin in one go to avoid discomfort. The process is repeated until the whole area is hair-free.
Post-Treatment
After waxing, a soothing lotion is applied to the skin immediately. The skin is cleaned to get rid of any sticky residue. It is advised to avoid taking hot baths/showers for a couple of days and use a non-comedogenic moisturizer that won’t clog your pores. That’s it!
